Melbourne in winter is the perfect location to enjoy the season. The streets are meticulously decorated with gorgeous trees and amazing architecture. It was a short stay, only three days! So, this is what I did in Melbourne in my long winter weekend getaway: 1. Visit Luna Park in St Kilda. NOVOTEL ON COLLINS - MELBOURNE My winter destination this month was Melbourne, the capital city of the state of Victoria in Australia. It was a short break, so I made sure to stay somewhere central where I could make the most of it and have as many attractions as possible within walking distance. After researching where to stay, I found the perfect accommodation for me and my family - the Novotel on Collins.  The rooms are beautifully designed to provide comfort with style.  The products provided are of excellent quality made with Fair Trade.  After an excellent night that we spent in our warm and super comfortable beds we woke up hungry.
