Weekend at the Carrara Markets

There are so many amazing things to do on the Gold Coast and one of my favourite things to do is to spend a day or two at the Carrara Markets. It is only open on the weekends, so make sure to visit next time you are on the Gold Coast for the weekend.


Handmade jewellery. These ones are from Crystal and Pearl Co.

 When I see a book store I have to get inside, and second hand book stores are like treasure chests. It attracts me like a magnet and I cannot wait to get in there and go through everything because you never know what you can find. 


Make sure to try the different cuisines and delicacies. 






Have fun! Where else you get to get inside a giant wooden kangaroo pouch? There are more than 400 stalls here, I could not fit them all in this post, so make sure you do allow yourself plenty of time to explore this amazing place. Just be aware that the market opens at 7 am and closes at 3 pm.

The Beach Look from Heaven

Hello lovelies,  It is Spring in Australia.  It can be tricky to know what to wear, however I found the perfect dress in one of my favourite online stores ROSEGAL   The weather can change from cool to warm in a very short period of time. However, it was not going to stop me from going to the beach. We had a few weeks of rain and as soon as the weather improved a little I visited Kingscliff Beach in New South Wales. Although it is a different state, it is only about 45 min from the Gold Coast in Queensland (where I live).
